A global provider to governments of intelligence and surveillance equipment faced a challenge to unify and integrate newly acquired business units. The solution employed a Business Transformation framework to deliver engineering cost savings and productivity improvements, product innovation, lifecycle management, programme and change leadership.This delivered opportunities to reduce support engineering costs by up to $50m with process changes identified for systems engineering and large-scale systems integration. Processes for integrated information management were identified across their various product groups.
