Optimizing the Human System

Michael Hammer, the Godfather of Business Process Re-engineering, noted, "human beings' innate resistance to change is the most perplexing, annoying, distressing and confusing part of re-engineering."

However, whilst people can be seen to be transformation's worst enemy, they too remain its best ally. Optimizing the human system throughout an organization must become a core strategic imperative while implementing an ERP solution. Organizations can move effectively towards an ERP implementation that delivers sustainable high performance only by harnessing and aligning inherent human capability.
