Environmental Policy

Introduction

HCL AXON is primarily an office-based consultancy service operating on client premises or in our own offices. Comparatively speaking we are not a major polluter of the environment, however, the Group and our employees try to ensure that we conduct ourselves in an environmentally responsible manner.

We consider environmental objectives to have at least equal weight with any other business objective and that these are a key line-management responsibility. The co-operation of all employees is also vital to the successful implementation of this policy.

The Environment

HCL AXON Solutions will strive to:

• Integrate responsible environmental leadership in our planning and decision-making
• Evaluate current technology, products and raw materials for waste minimization and review proper handling and disposal techniques for existing wastes
• Consider the environmental effects of decisions relating to operations, purchasing and supply
• Comply, as a minimum, with all relevant and applicable legislation and industry standards
• Involve, consult and effectively communicate with employees in the control of environmental issues
• Use energy and natural resources with increasing care and efficiency
• Regularly review the policy and the way it has operated and update it as required
