  To enhance our existing core capabilities in Business Consultancy, Systems Integration and Applications Management, we have invested heavily to build a significant core team of the most highly experienced insurance specialists in the market today. These are professionals with insurance backgrounds and with an average of 4-5 years experience in the following solutions:

• Solution Accelerators

  HCL AXON maintains its own systems based on the most recent releases to support the definition of ‘model’ insurance organizations with associated end-to-end processes.
  
  This asset is available as a ‘proof of concept’ solution for HCL AXON clients to model their future processes, to accelerate product configuration and/or to assist with fit-gap analysis. This asset is also open to enhancement by partners.
  
  Furthermore, HCL AXON is able to provide demonstrations to customers of complete end-to-end processes (e.g. for insurance: from initial quote to the issuance of a policy and the handling of a claim against that bound coverage) in this environment as well.

• Insurance Expertise

  HCL AXON has been selected as the only consultancy to advise the SAP Insurance Industry Business Unit (IBU) on the localization of SAP Financials for Insurance in the UK. Through this HCL AXON has built strong links with the SAP Worldwide Insurance Centre of Expertise in Belgrade where SAP is extending their range of insurance products.
  
  HCL AXON’s insurance expertise has also produced a growing set of accolades as a pioneer in the Insurance world:
  • First implementation of FS-CD and FS-CM for a Workers Compensation line of business in the US
  • First implementation of Marketing, Service and Customer Management for Insurance (Insurance-CRM)
  • First implementation of FS-CD for ‘Policy Billing and Collections’ in the UK
  • First implementation of SAP-BOBJ-Data Services in Insurance

  HCL AXON has extensive experience also within the Banking industry globally which produces tangible results as well through, for example, the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN), of which HCL AXON is a founder member and sponsor (the only service provider with that status). This expertise also extends to the portions of the Banking and Insurance platforms that are common to both industries (for example the Financial Services Business Partner, FS-BP, for managing customer data).
